Proposed Nomenclature for Geographical Features:

  1. Ogreman Mountain
  2. Clod Peak

Requested Administrative Action:

Formal naming of two heretofore unnamed topographic prominences situated within the Salt Lake Basin, Utah.

Comprehensive Geospatial Data:

Semiotic and Geological Significance of Proposed Names:

Epistemological Basis for Feature Anonymity:

After conducting thorough cartographic analysis and reviewing the GNIS database, it is confirmed that these geographical features remain unnamed. This conclusion is supported by consultations with non-Federal topographic manuscripts and discussions with local topographical authorities and outdoor enthusiasts.

Exclusions and Regulatory Adherence:

These features are neither ensconced within a federally designated wilderness area nor under review for such categorization, thus rendering any contraventions to Policy IV. Wilderness Area Geographic Names moot.

The objective of this memorandum is to institutionalize the naming of these significant geographical features, thereby fostering scientific exploration, cultural appreciation, and local tourism in the Salt Lake Basin.

For your review, attached are the annotated topographical map and high-definition photographs substantiating the aforementioned naming application.
